MARTIN MARGIELA S/S 2002 OVERDYED 'MCQUEEN' COTTON TROUSERS
A unique garment from Martin Margiela's S/S 2002 production. The pants are distinctive in their shape, function, and look. Firstly, the item has been finished without the inclusion of a waistband and/or belt loops which makes for an incredibly interesting look as the intended fit rests on the high waist of the wearer. In addition, a long inseam is paired with the high waist to elongate the legs and make for a uniquely shaped piece. Four buttons and a clasp are used for the central closure. A small pocket can be found on the right leg with two larger pockets being found on each side of the back. Natural fading and patina are highlighted underneath the overdye of the garment. Gorgeous veins and undulations of color are encapsulated and enhanced through the layer of blue that rests above.
The item is in great condition with no visible signs of unfavorable wear.
