Martin Margiela / Miss Deanna (10) Asymmetrical Wool/Cotton Sweater
Extremely rare and peculiar asymmetrical knit from Martin Margiela produced by the renowned Miss Deanna. This sweater is constructed of 54% cotton and 46% wool. In true Margiela fashion, pre-existing garments were deconstructed and then adhered together to form a cohesive garment. This garment directly references its original elements through the different and shapes materials found throughout. There are a total of 3 different fabrics utilized in this garment. Because of this the sleeves and neckline form an asymmetrical shape and certain areas of the sweater are not uniformly replicated on their mirroring side. The raglan sleeves also aid in its interesting shape. Not only is it an extraordinarily rare piece, it is also very distinctive as a knit.
