A gorgeous pair of French military pants from Martin Margiela's late 1990's production. The garment is distinctive in both its silhouette and construction. It features an oversized and relaxed shape that envelopes the wearer in an elegant fashion while it remains rugged as it is rendered in a durable cotton that echoes the military inspiration. There are YKK zippers found on each leg opening that contain about 2 inches of additional fabric that can be extended out. On the front, two pockets with ample storage can be found on each side. On the back, there is one pocket placed on the right. 3 buttons with a top clasp make up the central closure. There is an exceptional patina that is illustrated on the surface and adds depth to the piece.
Regarding condition, the garment is in great shape considering its age. However, it does sport evidence of wear. There are oil based spots found on the back side of the leg and minimal fraying found on the bottom of the leg opening. Though these are clear wear elements, they also aid in providing additional character to the piece, making it even more interesting.
