A fantastic suit from Martin Margiela's F/W 2005 production. It features a relaxed yet structured silhouette due to its material composition of moleskin cotton. The fabric has a deep luxurious feel to the nap of the cotton. There is a subtle pinstripe that slightly blends into the navy color of the suit.
The pants have a slight flare at the end of the hem providing it with a look that echoes that of classic english Saville Row tailor Tommy Nutter and Chester Barrie.
The suit features a single vent on the jacket and is accessorized by four buttons on each side of the surgeon cuffs. In typical Margiela fashion, there is a purposefully closed button hole at the end of the sleeves.
It is in great structural condition, there is some wear to the hem of the pants commensurate with age. The closure from the inside is ripped and will need repair but it does not effect the utility nor does it appear from the front of the garment.
