MARTIN MARGIELA F/W 2008 (14) EXTENDED COLLAR RIDER IN HORSE LEATHER
An extraordinary jacket from Martin Margiela's F/W 2008 production. This is a line (14) single cafe rider jacket with an extended collar. As with many of the garments created under this demarcation, the garment is meant to be placed within a wardrobe for men. There are evident considerations as to the quality, look, and overall feel that have been meticulously considered by the Maison. The jacket is constructed of rugged horse leather that is luxurious to the touch. A beautiful grain is showcased throughout the exterior of the jacket and makes for wonderful detail. 5 YKK zippers and a button clasp are rendered in gunmetal and are used as the hardware components for the garment. 4 total exterior pockets can be found at the front, while a central zip reveals the interior lining with 2 pockets within.
