Unquestionably one of the rarest shoes produced by Martin Margiela. This shoe glues together two separate silhouettes through the inclusion of a leather sock. The sock can simply be placed on top of the mule through the 2 holes created to accommodate the toe box and the cylindrical heel. There is a platform sole utilized at the front part of the shoe to support the wearer. It is created in an elegant chocolate brown leather that has been patinated beautifully through natural age and wear. The mule is a slip-on but once the sock has been placed it becomes a zipped shoe.
Please note that the item is in used condition. The platform sole, though solidly attached to the shoe does seem to have glue coming apart. In addition, the cylindrical heel has a small tear at the bottom on the leather.
