Rare piece from Martin Margiela's 2002 production. The 0 10 Reworked Artisanal Patched Denim is a familiar piece when it comes to well known Martin Margiela Menswear items. As many know, Margiela considered the 0 10 line to be his interpretation of couture for men. This approach is most evidently reflected in his consideration and ingenuity for the garments that were created under the demarcation. In this instance, Margiela and the atelier sourced vintage garments that were then reworked by cutting, amending, and manipulating the pre existing items into something that was truly unique. Each item within the 0 10 range is inherently distinctive as they have been subject not only to the designer's vision, but also through the secondary/tertiary elements of time and wear.
This pair features an elegant wash with intentionally placed "sun" seams running down the center of each leg as well as burnouts on the bottom of the hems. The patch that is depicted is sewn into the initial garment/pattern and overlocked/finished on the inside. In good condition, with moderate signs of wear. There are 2 small yellow dots a few inches below the crotch area.
