A gorgeous pair of denim from Helmut Lang's 1998 production. The garment features a distinctive wash technique that results in an 'acid' like appearance. There is a very interesting depth to the fade as the original indigo color of the jeans is still present underneath the dye application. In regards to the silhouette, they take after a bootcut with the waist intending to sit snugly as the jean slowly widens out into a generous leg opening. The item is unaltered and features its original waist and inseam. A very unique piece that stands out within Lang's known body of work. The piece was produced during the designer's now famous partnership with GTR (GRUPPO TESSILE RIUNITO), hallmarking a period where the consideration of material and quality for the jeans line was arguable at an all time high.
