Fantastic example of a leather blazer by Hedi Slimane for Yves Saint Laurent Rive Gauche F/W 2000. The jacket is constructed of a supple and luxurious lambskin leather that drapes elegantly on the body of the wearer. The high quality leather features an extraordinary full grain and the lightweight of its body ensures comfort while remaining effortlessly sophisticated.
The silhouette is quintessentially Slimane, slightly pronounced in the shoulders with a high armhole, tapering into the waist and flows downwards towards the bottom half. It features notch lapels at the front, a singular rear vent that sits high on the back, and two waist pockets on each side of the garment. It is a beautiful item from a rare production that can function as a classic in anyone's wardrobe. Do note that one of the buttons on the right sleeve has broken slightly, however there is a button within the inner chest pocket that can be used to replace it if desired.
